A collection of California sunsets from Venice Beach

November 1, 2020 By John Dvorak

During the four years that I lived near the beach in Venice, I enjoyed more than a few epic sunsets.

Facing west, the view from the beach looks out across the Pacific Ocean towards the Santa Monica Mountains. The sun dips behind the ocean for most of the year but falls behind the mountains for a couple of months during the late spring.

Sunset is a magical time in Venice, especially on the weekends.

Here’s a handful of photos I took when I lived there.
