In August of 2019, I spent two weeks on the road traveling through California, Oregon and Nevada.
I added 3,000 miles to the odometer on my Toyota Tacoma in two weeks. Starting in Los Angeles, I made it as far north as Detroit Lake near Salem, Oregon, and as far east as Winnemucca, Nevada.
I spent the most time in Siskiyou County, California, followed by Central Oregon, and then the Alvord Desert in south eastern Oregon. The route included my first ever visit to legendary Lake Tahoe on my way back home.
This video features some of my favorite footage that I captured with my drone during the road trip. Looking back, I definitely wish I had spent less time driving and more time focusing on getting more video material. Of the 14 days traveling, all but two included at least two hours of driving.
