Travel Photos from Mexico City

March 12, 2019 By Colby Cole

After visiting the heart of Mexico for the first time, I left the country feeling like the culture just doesn’t get enough credit for it richness.

Mexico City has it all: fascinating history, a vibrant street culture, a commitment to the arts, and some of the best food you will ever experience.

In four days and five nights, I toured the city’s historical district extensively while also making day trips out to the Teotihucuan pyramids and the fun Xochimilco canals. The trip out to Xochimilco included a stop at Frida Kahlo’s famous Blue House. Another fun tour was a night out drinking micheladas at Arena Mexico experiencing Lucha Libre.

A great way to start your visit to Mexico City is to join one of the free walking tours offered by México a Pie. You will learn a lot of useful information about the city and culture that you can use during the trip.

Below is a photo gallery showing some of the things I saw.
