This photo collection was created in August of 2022 during my annual summer road trip in the American West. This year it was to the Black Hills of South Dakota.
Starting in Las Vegas, the road to South Dakota was long but beautiful. On my way to and from the Mt. Rushmore State, I spent a few nights in Wyoming camping. I was also in Montana, briefly, visiting the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument.
The photo gallery’s subject matter is a mash-up of wildlife, landscapes, vintage western and Americana, historical sites, and personal portraits.
